People are asking what happened when crude down 7 weeks in a row. Here's the past cases since the year 2006, I just eye picked, might be missing one or two.

Sorry to hear the bad news too. Actually just considered it as a change of job (no to mention package which is a plus) so bad thing can turn good. So far all my friends being laid off found much better jobs. So not a bad thing. Good luck.

Actually, down 7 weeks in a row yet crude wasn't down much, it doesn't look like a real bear so far to me.

Poking its nose above the range.

My view, as I play it, with caution, is slightly bullish, perhaps 53-47 for the bulls.

Mostly day trades and scalps on SPY, ES and the like.

Some longer term swing trades on stocks, Long.

From "It is what it is department"May we live in an interesting time! Short term, dips will be bought. Lets look at the bigger picture, from this chart I see the bottom construction on Transportation and Banking, the key components foundation of our economy, will they hold and weather the coming storm and uncertainty? the line in the sand is your friend.

On the Central banking side of thing. market is at a breaking point. if $UST continues higher when 2 and 10 year ratio crossing back under 50 DMA, recession and hard landing to be expected.

lets look at the short term momentum, we are at the negative divergence in many indicators, but it's not good enough reason to short the market. all things take times, Only price pays. so far bulls are marching on, pay attention to $PBSPX, if there's a turn you will see it here at the Snakeville before anywhere else. trade well, Peace!
