For now the rebound may look like a bear flag which mostly doesn't work though.

Since the move up from September, price has only hit down to the EMA 20 twice.

Buying gaining strength, need to push up above 61.8% first.

Day trade made simple. next sell setup will tell if there will be a down trend day or not, so far, inside day, under 38.2% is leaning bearish bias.

Based on my indicators and momentum, today is sideways range day. I don't expect a trend day, a boring consolidation from big sell off of yesterday. let's see after this intraday sell setup.

-As everyone has been pointing out, today didn't count. Pulling back from oversold. After the close earnings will move this market and tomorrow before the open the jobs numbers for the month.

Wave counters really are looking for that 4,950 or a bit more before the big sell off of several hundred points. But the current 2024 high meets the minimum requirements so let's see what the open brings, will it be gap and go or black Friday?
