Tomorrow never dies and The world is not enough. Bulls have the courage and boldness, just like in the movies. Probably too much boldness though.

something to do with carry trade, Euro up Dollar down, Dollar down Equity up. another one I am looking at is DBV. during a bear market or uncertainty big guy will focus more on carry trade then buying fundamental stock.

Anyone else notice that the Nasdaq is 3.3% away from it's recent cycle high? Is this a bear market?

That being said, I like cobra's plan from last night. marginal new high before a trade down. Cobra, I'd bet you think the trade back down lasts to 1175 in SPX, no?

judging by the open so far, it doesn't look like we're heading down.

we have the UofMich confidence survey in the next few minutes. it looks like it'll determine if we break out higher or get some retrace from this resistance.

Yeap, on FAZ, W-shape bottom is tempting if we will see one in today or not, waiting patiently.

Cobra --

Saw your 10/12 portfolio update -- very interesting to see observe the interpretation of technicals -- short the dollar, short the 30 year, and short gold. I am going to be curious to see how those positions hold up over the next 3 to 4 months and what kind of economic environment we are to be in, if indeed, all three work out.

btw -- new website and twitter is very professional. very nice work.

FYI..The Dorsey Wright Point & Figure Charts are looking bullish again(All 15 of them)They got dn to about the 10% range and are bouncing back. When they get this low and have a good bounce usually the bottom is in and you can look to at least 2-3 mo.up mkt.We need a correction but after that this mkt could make some good gains.I'm getting ready to put my horns back on.Watch for correction then up.It is also the season.Lets see.

i see R2K losing steam vs SPX, advance-decline line going lower, GOOG is being sold down from it's 600 print. we're not hitting on all cylindars today.
