Everyone is expecting AAPL to post great numbers.

But what if it doesn't?
AAPL will post great numbers...rise to 435-440 which wil lbe a sell short area in my opionion and then eventually down to fill all those daily gaps. then higher into january earnings!

i think ppl are taking profits in aapl before earnings which is the smart thing to do and retailers are buying the dip. will get hit with sell the news event.
Dude, don't forget 10/18/2010. Stellar earnings and sandbag guidance will tank the stock.

AAPL going to post excellent numbers is given, how market react is a different story.
Overall, everybody and their mom is going to short AAPL after earnings for a swing trade, since we're at top BB line and so many gaps to fill, plus overbought coniditions..etc..etc..

I think I have more experience trading AAPL daily wise than anybody here.

I think that this scenario is most likely even though I have read of slowdowns in iPhone orders in the past couple of months. I think that past Thursday a downturn in earnest could begin if the US$ goes higher.

Something funny today : the bots are set up to initiate orders for high beta stocks as a function of the fluctuations of the TICK!

You think more down ahead ? Im seeing SPX and INDU touching 20dma Weekly and thats why the sell off imo. First touch of Weekly 20MA is sell right ? So more down ahead then but eventually a buy ? Im a bit confused sorry .
I don't feel bearish.

but my guess is the pullback isn't over yet.
Hi, Cobra, I might not be getting it, but wondering why you think the pullback isn't over if you are not bearish. What is your pullback target? Thanks!
I've already given the target. before the tinted area taken, bulls are ok, before the green line taken, I'm not worried.

2 bar reversal, the next bar holds the key, another reversal, than we'll see strong close, otherwise, bad close.
