oh. I am looking for that (or the opposite of that) in hrly and 15min since I like to swing. My broker too slow for DT. But I found it is not easy to find set ups as perfectly as what you had there. Maybe due to the difference in time frame.

You have to be super nimble and focussed to play this small divergences game. Can get killed very fast too. SL SL SL. And lots of luck. Even answering a phone call can make a trade go bad. Especially when MACD below zero or RSI less than 50 etc.

SC - do you have a particular target for the breakout? ;)
Humble one: 1.4246. However look difficult now for today!

Last chart from me for today, I got it from CS/Rolf Bertschi this morning. The red hist is the medium term momentum (weekly outlook), the blue line with the red arrow pointing downwards is the long term momentum (monthly outlook). Momentum charts tend to be quite reliable on the long run, short term they are not precise.

Nota bene: Cobra's Day Trader Lounge is much better than Bespoke: wisdom from Cobra, good stories out of Montana, history by Al_Dente, charts from CS... ;)

In case anyone is still in the dark as I was, NYSE must have had some wicked last minute trades yesterday to screw up the feed to Stockcharts (amongst others) and skew charts and numbers today. Maybe the bots got all crazy.

daytrading and scalping, 1min and 5min is best. but i like 1min because i'm a scalper today since it's a range day. not range day then i use 5min.[/quote]

Get ready to scalp them, IWM is dropping below the pivot @ LOD and is below my fib fan, no support.

The dollar isn't supporting this, but bonds are creeping up slowly...

T2122 is now the 5th day above 93, which has not occurred since March 2010, so if this repeats, we could go on and on for much longer until gravity sets in

Al Dente, appreciate the interesting post! Sounds like the crowd reacted to the behemoth, market moving volume of Rothschild? Here's my 2s10s30s imitation chart with UUP:

waiting for spy/iwm to go up to make another high so I can feel safe holding short over the weekend. otherwise, holding short over the weekend is like playing lottery.

I wouldn't call it tripe !
Especially interesting to me, being from the UK.

A classic example of insider trading !
