11/23/2011 Intraday Watering

Post by Cobra »

First of all, tonight we'll move to the new server. I'll shut down http://www.cobrasmarketview.com (include bbs.cobrasmarketview.com of course) for don't know how long after 7:30pm ET. Hopefully could bring it back to normal before mid night ET. There'll be no Market Outlook tonight, instead it'd be in the weekend because Friday is only half day. The Trading Signals however will be posted as usual in AH including Friday, at least say hello and a turkey picture. The Intraday Watering will proceed as usual, i.e. today and Friday. http://www.hutong9.net users won't be affected by the moving process, yes, you stay in the old server. By separating 2 sites into different servers, both could be much safer.

Gap down below yesterday's range, fulfilled the consolidation then breakdown pattern and once again proves pattern rules, no matter what news or seasonality, so let's remember this. Anyway, chances are the gap might not be filled, well, NORMALLY.

The Global ES looks like a breakdown then consolidating before another possible breakdown. I see the selling is very calm, so hard to call bottom, will have to wait and see. According to the Measured Move, though, chances are it's not bottomed yet.

Yoelds on 10 yrs bds up across Europe, some up as much as 6%. Italy again near 7%, at 6.97, yet FTSE and CAC are holding up well. And China missed badly on their PMI, under 50

Failed German bond auction.
The market does not even want German bonds.

If you get UPRO at bottom and riding it up, that's one rocket for a day's work!

Suggestion for a poll: Where's the bottom? Market Owl won't be buying today unless we drop to SPX 1120.

GM! Great post this morning, Cobra!
Pattern rules!
I also agree that the down turn is calm and well controlled and that is why I am constructing a “shorting short term” but hedged position for the Qs.
I am trying to keep seasonality in mind but this does not seem to guide the present..
