The long bond looks like a piece of unfinished business visually. While yields this low make no sense, the chart looks like it wants to put in a double bottom with the October low.

SSO bull, SDS bear. 2x but not as huge a decay as you'd think.
So SDS is good but not SH for bears?
SH is fine as well, it is non-leveraged. I thought you were looking for some other options as well.
I don't bet SH or SPY. I just need a reliable ETF as a guage/proxy.

Current VIX action while S&P tanks is not necessarily a sign that a bottom is near.

VIX could just play catch up and explode higher.

This has happened before. Look.

BTW, added more TVIX at the open this morning.

Cobra, What if anything do you make of the divergence of VIX and SPY on daily charts. VIX staying in range and SPY breaking down. Seems very odd to me!

I see an opportunity to go long the VIX.

HI all,
Not trading a lot as market volatility (and uncertainty) is quite high...
Regarding CL, it tries do re-integrate its uptrend channel...
I will go long above 97...

breakout trend line then back test it then rebound, looks promising here, but bulls need work hard to break the above red line at least. Let's see.

U can try these: TNA for bulls / TZA for bears. They are 3X. They will triple your pain or happiness.

no idea, it's strange. Probably big guys are hedging with index puts.

TNA/TZA are based off of the Russell index, that's what you should do the T/A off.
