i have to say, owning puts on XLF isn't really all that exciting. -_-
I am ready for the upcoming 2 day event.
yes sir 2/3 of the position.
I took out a discretionary short at SPX 1264 (200DMA) with a stop at 1275, risking $300 loss, via SDS. SPX 1275 is about 4 points above the downtrend from the July High. Expecting a minor swing low, not necessarily a new intermediate downtrend.
Swing to Intermediate SPX Analysis - multiple time frame - Daily & 60 min time and price cycle analysis.
Usually trade SSO / SDS

Just me, but I do not see a new high tomorrow. If we do I will be taken out of my shorts.

well, guess that's it for today. although the intraday action seems bearish but I won't make my bearish move too early after all this is against the trend. Thank you guys, I'll see you tomorrow.

That's what you call Dow 12,000 support. Nice close.
Of course, I'm clueless and will guess a gap down and turnaround to a higher high tomorrow.

Close at low of day not as good for gap down signal as closing OFF the lows.
I like how everyone is skeptical of a gap down

it was a kick save, but it didn't last long. SPY is settling at 126...all that buying into the close looked worse (for bears) than it ended up being.

I'm trading with my new Gap-up and Gap-down play today.
Have long and short positions on SPY as of yesterday close.
