Update of a chart I posted over the weekend.
Money Flow Index pump faked. Looked like a peak on Friday, but marched on up this mutual fund Monday. This is bullish as it can go higher before getting overbought.
Time Volume Accumulation still on the soft side. Mr. Market showing some price dicipline at resistance?
Visually, I have to say, it looks like prices are inclined to rise or maybe put in a pop rather than roll over.

what a day, Thanks Cobra and everyone GLTA

TA note: Da bears didn't get the last red arrow. 50/50 chance for the diehard counter trend. vix is picking up a speed that's about it.
My comments are for entertainment/educational purpose only. NOT a trade advice.

Anyone have a guess for the close? > or < 1280 SPX?

My gut is over but I wouldn't be surprised if under. No position.

Speaking of blabbing too much, here’s a POP QUIZ, circle one
Why is ag one of the strongest sectors today? (DBA)
a) because soybeans are good for you
b) because Dennis Gartman said so
c) because these market are all wacky

soybeans and corn are main ingredients in the majority of animal feed. more people, more protein eating population, more fast food joints, more such ags are needed...prices go up.

and other reasons...

Why are you short TVIX?
I should be but not on the last wave down, don't want to risk truncation. Per TA, I think it has room to hit 40 on the first wave up. It's tough to predict how well it will correlate to the VIX exactly but the vix has another 2-3 points to go lower before it pops. The idea of getting in on TVIX in time for a correction is pretty damn exciting but I do realize that may be odd :geek:

Today's consolidation has come on the lowest NYSE volume of the last 5 days. Amazing! SPY won't even break 100 million shares today.

the high has been tested some many times, should breakout. I'd be surprised that the market simply topped here.
