Were you notified in any way that the fund would be closed to new shares and that CS would not be supporting the price??

Yes, but I'm not sure about support 1360. 1370ish is very strong.

You think they gonna let us play the second easy? gap! no bounce off or roll down but GAP
If this is the beginning of a trend change, I wouldn't be surprised with a little chop here , flat Friday ... With a gap down Monday. Fwiw.
140.00 is magic number for me as far as price, Trend is officially down per my time frame. That is MA5

This is what I posted yesterday:

<< Alright, time for my 2 cents. I am new to the board -- and if anyone remembers my first post it was
to the effect that I would be selling at or around the new moon (today/tomorrow -- to be exact at something like 10 am EST tomorrow), with a fairly tight stop to the upside.

I've been tuning in that evil financial cable television channel (can i say the call letters here) (the one that features the bald carnival barker that seems to be mainlining meth-amphetamines). Let me put it this way -- I saw and was seen. I cannot keep count of how many times they said 'now is the time to buy stocks'. It was as if someone put out a memo this morning (boiler room style) and said PUSH STOCKS to the sheeple. It is almost comically how desparate they are to 'put lipstick on a pig'. They don;t even try to hide it anymore. And how about that call by GS ('now is the perfect time to buy stocks -- having to do with the global PE levels.)

SO, that settles it for me, I am OUT of the market starting at today's close (but not aggressively short, unless it breaks down a bit -- 1388 on $spx is my magic number to start buying puts). >>

The SPX almost triggered my 1388 put-buying strategy, but we still have the last hour of trading :o
Looks like the Bradley dates were more accurate this time around than the lunar cycles -- Thanks @ TraderGirl !
I have a gut feeling that we will be seeing a major breakdown here.

And then it hits home!"

FAS testing 105 again. Triple leveraged ETF or not, it's one of the keys to the market, earlier today stopped dead cold at 105.00

There's got to be a lawsuit here, I wonder if they notified all of the investors of CS's actions of not supporting the market on this instrument....??? If I were in this thing I would sue!! I used to work for a pretty well known hedge fund, I sued them, they settled...wusses!
They are probably preparing to re-open issuing new shares, that "action" was only matter of time...at 8.5 Im buyer  strange that trade is not halted

btw CS is a good timer my 2 cents are they expect either trend change or more down days

My satisfaction always came from beating the market, solving the puzzle. The money was the reward, but it was not the main reason I loved the market (Jess Livermore)

Who confuse? here is buy and sell chart for TVIX I posted since last week. I don't think people lose money because of charts, it's a person who chose not to see what is. remember it is what it is.

I haven't received anything directly from CS, but I knew it was closed. It's my own fault. I just didn't think the price would erode this sharp on a day like today. Like I said, it could have been a lot worse.
