I really hope this is a typical breakout pullback to test the breakout point before going up further.

today's story is TLT. Measured target roughly as shown by tinted area. in reality you cannot do the measured target on a log chart though, I just do this to save time.

Is there a "cleavage indicator".

I guess you are experienced trader, as shorting the calls is very risky, i would rather buy puts and pay the premium. with puts at least there is a max cap on how much i would lose

i like being short the $625 calls, but you better have a good stop in place where you're willing and ready to bail on them.
you have a good amount of theta decay on your side - and the market direction seems to be in your favor, but watch your vega - it can come back to bite you in the ass, especially if vega premium picks up.

w/o leverage, short 1 625c will cost a lock down of 60k margin. you need to have deep pocket to do that. risk/reward-wise, i feel like u r using an elephant doing flyfishing. maybe u can get some catfish from time to time, but if u lose once, yr elephant is gone.

Rich Arab, even with some coal swap out, there is yet just not enough demand for the nat gas to see the price pay for more than a +/-3% swing, if that. Maybe come next winter? Besides, here in Texas we have moo many fine cattle, they produce the gas for near total net free.

nymex closed. 26% drop for gas in q1 2012. so far this is one of the best swing trade. almost comparable with long aapl and totally forget it.
need to add this: it dropped for the past 19 months. there is no chance u will get stopped out. so this is the best trade for q1, or maybe the past 19 months
