I can see strength in SMH and XLF but not in SPY or IWM, nice bullish harami but that need confirmation. I will lighten up my short but not buying in IWM or SPY. SMH and XLF (FAS) are very attractive to me right now but will wait some more before pulling buy trigger on them.

AAPL should fall before earning, better than over bought then fall big after good earning like AAPL usually do. That will be very negative.

nothing new. short-term I'm not sure the direction. longer term, still looks like a 2 legged up. the first leg is done, now somewhere around we shall see the 2nd leg up.

Mr Cobra, what is the difference between blue shading and pinkish shading. I was home sick that day you explained it.

OLD NEWS… Oy…..April 9, 2012 4:46 pm

Banks eye insurers for funding stability
“In the aftermath of the debt crisis, life insurers proved to be among the most stable of financial companies despite their often very large exposures to financial assets. Their stability was down to the fact that their “funding base” could not disappear.
Life insurers and pension schemes make very long-term promises to pay out money to people, but only when certain things happen – for example, retirement or death. So they are extremely unlikely to suffer a run.
Consequently, banks are now looking to insurance-type businesses as a potential source of very long-term and stable funding …
Goldman Sachs has led the way… while Deutsche Bank has a similar business …. But many others in the UK, Europe and elsewhere are already either accessing this funding in some form or looking very closely at it.”

Both Gold and Silver are trading in what looks like a bear flag...?? While dollar looks like a bull flag. Looks like Silver needs one more push down, and dollar one more push up before we get a rally in PM's....IMHO...

i am asking myself, since i showed uempel version of trendlines, why not show courgar's favorite fib fans?
he has too many things on his chart. i couldn't figure all out.

now you know my hobby. in my spare time, i hide myself in the dark corner of the room, writing codes to make those charting guys working 24/7

Cobra, don't know how to post a chart here, but can you please check if the 5 min. chart on APPL looks like a ascending triangle, that would take it to 636 if it breaks out...Thanks.
