The German DAX has a double tweezer top on the daily. With this morning rally, we're helping the DAX bust that tweezer top.

Petsamo, that was well done calling the day's low on Friday. My mistake for contradicting you.

Ok “bullbear”: I have sold (to open) 2N SPY Oct 14, 117 puts and also N Oct 14 SPY, 119 calls. This means that I count on an SPY expiration this Friday between 117 and 119...We shall see…
I also started ,today, to accumulate VIX Nov 35 calls ...only a small position, so far.

note to self: don't be short into a holiday monday...

over 4 handles in the pain since taking my short position into the weekend.

some guys have to be capitulating soon...marking the top perhaps??

My short term Fibs show that 1200.30 could be the top, presumably some guys decided to put the high 1 handle lower...

def. tough. i'm not a perma bear at all, in fact i enjoy making money on the long side much better.

1) you have the fed on your side
2) you have the entire structure of the financial services industry on your side, they WANT you to buy all the time
3) my IRA, long term portfolio, and short term portfolio are all on the same side enhancing any profits

it takes very little to make the market move up, and the market tends to discount bearish fundamentals much more quickly.
