That's where the 200 MA on 1 hour S&P June futures was and yes, many people do put stops there.soku wrote:i cannot believe somebody placed stop at 1399.5
this is a total distraction to market.it is hard to tell whether go long here or not.
Cobra, so this is no longer a buyable dip but a sellable bounce? Market doesn't feel quite weak.Cobra wrote:normal pattern should be like this.

I'll have to see at that time. but generally, I'll maintain the big picture view. Check my Monday report: http://www.cobrasmarketview.com/2012/03 ... -readings/, see the big picture chart. I reiterate that call.tigerwang9999 wrote:Cobra, if it reached 1390 area, will it be up? or will it try again 1419? or 1419/1.065=1330 area? any comments? Thanks
that 5 min chart only applies today. I'll maintain my big picture call. be sure you know the time frame I'm talking.noob wrote:Cobra, so this is no longer a buyable dip but a sellable bounce? Market doesn't feel quite weak.Cobra wrote:normal pattern should be like this.

i see large stop orders. in general you shd not place stop too close to round numbers, especially if u r trading big fund.Jose wrote:That's where the 200 MA on 1 hour S&P June futures was and yes, many people do put stops there.soku wrote:i cannot believe somebody placed stop at 1399.5

my read on the chart is bearish because it's a confirmed 1-2-3 trend change. the target is shown on the chart. I don't believe the target, but you should get the rough direction.
