Thank you for your thoughts. I'm not as aggressive as you are on the yield side but my main yield holdings are JNK, PGF, and PGX.[/quote]

I have held and continue to hold for the forseeable future a closed end fund FEN. It's a collection of pipeline master-limited partnerships with high yields. Being bundled into a fund means I don't have to worry about the tax consequences of holding MLP's individually (you would get a K-1 income form for your taxes which makes things complicated) and I also hold this in an IRA so I get the tax benefits that structure provides as well. As with any CEF you have to worry about premium or discount to NAV which is one of the reasons PHK got such a beat down recently. Mostly I like it because pipelines are such a stable income producing business and the MLP structure keeps the net income (and income returned to the investor) high. Food for thought.

I'm a weird guy, L_T. I know it is the same amount but I like ETFs that pay monthly dividends even though the money would be the same spread out quarterly.

I never did any pipeline easement / right-of-way work but I know that the companies themselves have a lot of cash flow.

I look at sustainability of dividends.

If you're concerned about NAV, there are plenty of crap out there you can short. PHK is quality and it has proven itself.

PHK bears can only be found when it is at the lows. They're nowhere to be found if it's sitting too high & you want the thing to drop.

Agreed Fehro, if I'm guessing correctly we'll sell off to that support area around 1409 SPX EOD
then maybe Mon/Tue shoot for 1434 the 9/12-13 rally was 54 pts
Didn't someone mention (Uempel?) a 53 pt correlation yesterday? :P

Any predictions for power hour? Sell time or more of watching paint dry? I'm still holding a long position but am anxious.

I have posted this similarity in the past, still holding up...possibilities for SLV? Do we see one more high before it falls?

I have a potential time frame but want to watch it further to see how this analog with 2009 plays out...

Da bears better do something. My spreadsheet's calling for a gap up Monday. I'll update if necessary if that forecast changes in one hour.
