Google DJIA Jupiter Saturn Uranus composite cycle and you should find a comment on another blog, but besides this graph and some vague explanations about the methods used to obtain it, you wouldn't find anything else. But this is enough, take a good look how the trend performed around peaks and bottoms and you could trade being more confident about the trend and where is supposed to turn.
More useful i found to be some articles found on educatedanalyst, especialy those from Mariano LaRosa, he provided more detailed info on how to use planetary moves and obtain a useful chart: http://www.educatedanalyst.com/planetar ... ethodology

I watched this thing all last year.
It was creepy to the degree it kinda worked.
Looking forward to see if it scores this spring. It will be cool if it does.

What I like about it now is that it is contrary to some widely held views.
While there are many asset managers who subscribe to a "sell in May" type correction this year,
there is a general expectation that there will be a rally later and it will be a decent year.
The "January Barometer" said so...
This chart suggests a bad year.
While a good year is my strong preference, I am now open to the possibility that conventional wisdom could be wrong.
Hopefully, this will help me not let the January Barometer and what the herd thinks bias my trading decisions.

VIXies indecisive but appear more closer to bulls than bears.

Mr Bachnut, we should be open minded and not exclude the posibility that the late year rally this chart shows could make a higher or not so much lower high. The chart only shows directions and should not be used to measure the extent of the rally, ie a lower high on the composite cycle could be higher high on equities and viceversa.

Totally agree with you that there are so many chart gurus on this board, or at least that what they think they are after posting some charts.
My words of advice for you, please don't waste your time trying to read their charts, most of them are garbage. If their charts are any good they wouldn't be here posting them for free
Like you I like TAs and charting very much, and I have spent enough time here to learn that there are only a handful of folks here really know charts and know the responsibility of posting meaningful charts. Usually they are the ones with simple charts and with enough texts to tell us what their charts want to tell us.
Most of descend or creditable chartists are listed in public stockcharts. I hope my post save you sometime in the future and use that time do your own charts. With enough time and dedication, I am sure your charts will serve you better and very likely will have more meaning than most here.

Hard to say. We could have a head fake, and break up only to turn down hard. Or just gap above everything and run.
