could pop through this resistance. in a big way.. ..GDX daily.. weekly .. into 20w SMA / resistance on the daily.. 200d first?.. or 50d retest?

I am salivating on the idea of NUGT $ 40.00....

$40 is above some serious resistance.. but when the miners go..it'll be a large move.. prefer GDX as guide for NUGT… and under cut of GDX 2008 lows.. would be ideal.. but then a tad too obvious .. NUGT weekly

We are gapping up this AM. Does this mean we have bottomed?

Per the charts below, gap up days were observed on:

Nov 8th, 2011
May 29th 2012
October 15th, 2012
November 6th, 2012
June 7th, 2013
October 1st, 2013
January 30th, 2014
April 9th, 2014

ALL of these gap ups FAILED. ALL. Instead, we got a bunch of ABC corrections and price turned right back down and went to lower lows. Careful!

Some extensive research incoming regarding all the corrections on SPY dating back to late 2011 (I stopped but there were more examples back further!)

Have we bottomed? Let's look at the FIRST downtrend line for each correction given the first 5-6 days, when it broke, and what happened next!
