What i don't like is that the 60 min chart showing the scocastic is not at an extreme.. makes me nervous of 1 last up on monday...... seems to easy...

My spreadsheet's indicating a gap up if we finish at current levels. So, our candlestick does not have to look bullish

Just fade the tick, well, if strong enough it could turn out to be some thing else.

Bears need to see new low, or I will not believe follow thru monday will occur....yes, guessing WDIK?

i did some quick reading. es 1376-77 area is pretty strong. if it could not hold, the "conventional" 1370-71 area may not either. if it happens, it will be a nice friday afternoon quick snack

AAPL next destination

I am carrying a modest short position from yesterday and day before. Currently in the black, but I don't have much conviction in it.
Thesis is driven by some weak technicals and a view that there will be a second push down to test April 10 low or make new lows some time in the next two weeks give or take.
I think today is about settling OPEX. So, I am not sure we are getting signals that say much about what lies ahead.
Also, a quick look at a 10 day 15 min chart on the SPY shows a rising channel in a symetrical triangle kind of thing. I guess that tilts toward bullish but could go either way. Today's trading is honoring the boundaries. So, resolution next week it looks like.
