[quote="MrMiyagi"]AAPL certainly not healthy, as I said before, all will be report related.Conspiracy theory; what if AAPL bigwigs and mucho shareholder-wannabes are pushing it lower to bay bottom and then have it rocket at earnings?
amusing--this is from alan farley (real money/the master swing trader) who is holding longer term. i just happened to read this and then your post next. trying to stay really open minded here--but usually when there is a decline into earnings i get less negative. hopefully the idea of a miss is correct and there is a sell as this would likely put a clean buy in tech (short term).
longer term? if tech (esp smh and semis) lags spx on the next move up--esp if qqq fails to get though the 50% fib of the whole 2000 decline--it mite finally be time for "the big top". so the action in may/june is going to be very interesting in a longer term context.
As for the report itself, I find myself hoping for lower prices into the summer so I can add more shares at a lower cost basis. I'd also rather have my 4th quarter dividend reinvested closer to 450 than 650 because it will go a lot further in the long run. Remember, this is the point of view of someone who's held the stock since January 2010. I'd have an entirely different opinion if it was a position trade. A technical note: AAPL hit its 50-week EMA one time in 2010 and one time in 2011. The 50-week EMA is currently at 450.
aapl update, it's weaker than I thought but still I think a rebound is due. will make the next all after I see how rebound goes.

Taggard, that is interesting.. they`re all cahooting together I tell ya.
After Groupon book keeping questioned, now Facebook mentioned their adds revenue is not as strong as previously stated, you got to go Hmm....GRPN at 11.77 today from high of 31ish since IPOed. another funny thing to note, if GRPN trade > 12.00 it's a buy.
My comments are for entertainment/educational purpose only. NOT a trade advice.

Actually, I thought they might have more of a chance in May. On June 11th Jupiter (planet of luck) leaves Taurus (ruled by Venus, which represents money), and then there is a Uranus square Pluto June 27th. Uranus came to it's closest aspect with Pluto in August 2011, and continues to have these aspects until 2016. So, we will see what happens....June may not be a very good month....
All these "tech" stocks having billions of income baffle my mind.
What I don't get is click revenue from Google, you can have a thousand monkeys clicking away for you and not buy a thing and still rack up the ad totals.
I have never clicked on an ad within a website (sorry Cobra you are poor because of me).

BIG HIT: 750 stocks had quotes stuffed for that drop, and then 325 hit and SPY went up a few points.
Figure out when they are going to do that and in which direction and in some European Country, I think Holland, they arrested and charged the two private traders. I'm not sure how the case was resolved, or if it is pending. Reverse engineer an HFT? How DARE the public do such a thing. High Crimes and Misdemeanors indeed!
