TraderLady, as to a new high on SPX: after the close it's going to be interesting to see what the Bullish percentages did today. Yesterday the market was damaged quite severely, I believe that a fast recovery is highly unlikely

This is the 5th cycle iteration out of the bear bottom note previous blue ovals unless it is different this time suspect a bottom in here...

Even if SLV were to bounce here....there is no pos d on RSI....so most likely a test of this low again at some point...and in the past that has usually let to a lower low on SLV and higher low on RSI....

The only case where that was different was when SLV was already in an established uptrend...but we have been in a clear downtrend since May 2011...lower lows, lower highs....

You need a higher low on either TSI or MACD, plus RSI....IMHO...
