We probably hit some sell stops in this move. As we get out of this overly trodden trading range to the downside, it ought to be green fields of stops for the computers to work on. I imagine there is a trove of stops lurking below the August low.

Agreed. But I think there will be quite a few hardy range traders going long at 110-111.

Heavenskrow - that was a good call that you made a couple of weeks back about going long USD with UUPT. I followed right in, as I had very similar observations. But I got stopped out by a silly phantom bar that had UUPT plunge by 30% in one minute on Sep 23. Impressed that you made it through that one (did you not have a stop?). I'm still long in the trade, with UUP options now.

Yeah that phantom bar was nuts!! I was fairly confident with going long dollar due to monthly, weekly, and daily signals so I had no stops. But I did see that on my charts later on... scary....lol, we should of shorted gold or silver instead of going long the dollar however!
