I'm clueless about the market now, so not much comment today. looks like it's wrong to NOT expect sharp reversal, so I keep my mouth shut here. Anyway, key time because this is to test the previous high so no failure allowed.

Short term, I think, the market is poised to revisit and touch Oct 26th high. The quality of the touch will be informative about the close future. Slight touch: spike-up from deep, means down or reversal; Slow up multiple touches or slight overshoot: more bullish, but still can be bearish; Overshoot and consolidation above the level is bullish. Great wisdom, isn't it?

Someone was asking about the state of the NYMO the other day, which continues to be neutral. However, I stumbled upon this interesting chart study of NYMO/SPX divergences on another site this morning. It suggests that the bears may have some chances soon.

Primary Count Wave 5 Ending Diagonal. Boy they all seem to end this way lately. No reason it can't reach above 1,300 before we get that larger correction all the Bears here hope for. Wouldn't be surprised if we then make a 3-3-5 Flat with the 5 around OE since that has often produced the short-term low (it did in Dec & Nov at least). I'll trade that pattern until it doesn't work because it's making me

waves 1,3,5,C are always have 5 waves.
waves 2,4, B always have 3 waves,
wave A could have 3 or 5 waves.
If we are completing 5th waves in wave 5 which is impulsive not corrective based on chart, how are you getting 3,3,5 flat in an impulsive wave?

I thought Flat, ZZ, Triangle, Expanded Flat all occure on corrective waves 2,4,B. complex verses simple vice versa in 2nd verses 4th waves.

how we could get flat in 5th wave?

Here's a general investment question:

If I sell my holdings of a dividend-paying stock after the ex-dividend date but before the payout date, will I get my dividend in purely cash or a mix of stock and cash?

lunch time. strictly speaking, it broke the support and now fighting to hold the break. all the other assets are agree with each other except VIX, but we all know VIX:VXV is already very low, so I really doubt how low the VIX could go. Anyway, let's wait. Lunch time, will be back.
