The reason I asked this, is there was a signal for a move in gold on the 16th (midnight on the 15th) which is evident now, and then a move for the 17th. I presume that the move on the 17th would be an upward movement for gold then?

What do you think? Or are there any gold traders here that can comment on these directions?

These dates are an "OR" not "And", so its either 16th or 17th....then there is another reversal on the 20th...

Hi AL2, it's a tough call as the structure can be counted as impulsive (5waves) and corrective as well (3waves) so that's the main reason why I am not trading it just waiting and watching but this is how I see it (or prefer)

But take it with a grain of salt, because if this breakout in dollar is valid then it's better to stay away from commodities
