All the retail and dip buyers.
Just learned from FSLR today, good time may not last forever. $44 to $38 swing in 1 hour with no news !! Maybe too heavy on one side makes the boat sinks ! 5 Million dollars question !!

I sense "fearful", therefore we should be "greedy"?

SCO (Ultra-Short Crude) is still in limbo. To get a BUY signal, it has to stabilize above ~37.3
My view is that Iran will not block the “Straits of Vermouth”…

TWT, I got a question I want to ask you.

1st wave=3rd wave is at 1315
61.8% 1st wave=3rdwave is at 1310

These numbers seem okay to you?
1 x 1 is around 1315. If it is the wave (III) of an ED then it should not extend substantially higher otherwise this scenario will be killed
TWT, have you had any experience or knowledge of the VIX making it's low/high on the 3rd wave...??? Read that somewhere, just wanted to ask you...
I don´t know .....

What I see is a massive bullish falling wedge with postive divergence of stochastich and the Bollinger Band getting, therefore a major move is in the cards, but we cannot rule out a move to the lower trend line first.

Once the gap at 24.92 is closed you better not be long the equity market !!!!!!

chart says long, guts says no.
so i decide to take a break. do you guys know Dr. van Tharp? here is a test designed by him.
http://www.tharptradertest.com/default.aspx?question=1
according to tharp, i am an Innovative Trader
One of Your Trading Strengths - You like the challenge of sorting out market conditions and seeing where you fit and can be competitive in the markets.
One of Your Trading Challenges - You may find yourself making emotional decisions when under stress (with dramatic consequences).

the result sounds terribly close :D

The goal is not uniformity. It is understanding and idea exchange.

After weeks of us yammering on about negative divergences and indicators, King Cobra leveled us all flat yesterday with one perfect sentence,
six elegant words: “INDICATORS DON’T WORK UNTIL PRICE CONFIRMS”.
So the next person who mentions indicators will make me just scream.

Oy, anyway, check my indicators on 30 min
Is anyone else seeing divergences close to getting “cured” or stuff trying to re-align or what…kool-aid???

Swalsh I don’t know Alex Jones, throw me a bone and give me a short “who is he/what is he saying” as I don’t have time to look him up.
Radio show...Google "infowars'...lost of conspiracy stuff and I admit he is good at it. While one can't take him seriously, there are some things he claimed 8-10 years ago that have turrned out to be real. He's a big NWO is taking us over guy. If you have iTunes he is under "radio/newstalk/radio"
However, I was familiar with yr passing reference yest to SSRI, I didn’t have to look that one up (friend of a friend etc).

For those who like to swing it just doesn't get any better than $VIX daily touch on the lower BB and $SPX likely to touch the upper BB soon. Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Glen Miller and the Duke ain't bad either.

In my opinion SPX is involved in a large corrective pattern that began at the summer highs. To make it simple we could have a wave (A) at the October 4 low and now a wave (B) in progress.
The wave B can challenge last year highs if the trend line off the 2007 top is breached
I agree and see this as a short covering corrective rally of some sort. The down move was, IMO, clearly an impulse wave and it should not have ended a wave of a degree, but started a new degree.

So the question is:

Since we always need price to confirm.

WHY BOTHER WATCHING INDICATORS AND STATISTICS?

Just look into the chart should be enough.

Well, in theory. right?

I'm not kidding. I'm really thinking about this.

Yes, reading chart requires experiences. lots of experiences. so not easy to grasp. but looks like it's the only way to trade successful.

JOEY
That’s cheating. If u reference the greats u have to post link to a great tune…..
PS:I keep re-reading that Cabot note, the bear part: “When lows are above 40 while mkt is making highs = DANGER = internally, sellers are in control, and indexes are masking this weakness….”
That’s just my paraphrase, gotta dig around and find old Cabot notes after the close, as i forget the time frame….how long…how quickly can/does it snap back up/down….etc….did u see anything revealing about time frame???
(I may be sloppy, but at least I’m slow)
