AAPL 6 month chart; I have circled in green the times where 10,1.9 setting was hit and reversed by itself.TraderGirl wrote:This is what my BB looks like...

The rest of the time 10,1.9 AND 20,2.0 were hit together.
Wish you and everyone here a Very Happy, Healthy, & Prosperous New Year!Cobra wrote:well, guess that's it for today. Seasonality for the 1st trading day of year (Wednesday) was not good for small caps, check http://www.cobrasmarketview.com on the right side for the Trader's Calendar for more details. Tomorrow the market will be closed. I'll as usual open a thread here for whoever wants to flood here. So Happy New Year guys, I'll see you the next year!
Before the close, please take a little time to vote for me, thanks. https://stockcharts.com/public/1684859/tenpp
Thanks TraderGirl, I find the 10,1.9 more suited to our style of trading, where we are watching the market all the time even of we don't trade 100 times a day. It is far faster and more responsive than the 20,2.0 setting. Did you take any pictures of yourself in an elf costume? Most times I will use both settings in parallel for a mega-signal but often times there's enough of a disparity between the two that the 10 settings works better for me.TraderGirl wrote:Nice chart Miyagi...![]()

Appreciate the info from both of you. I will take a closer look at 10, 1.9 daily BB setting. Do you also find it useful for other time frames and other stocks/indexes or is it AAPL specific for you?MrMiyagi wrote:Thanks TraderGirl, I find the 10,1.9 more suited to our style of trading, where we are watching the market all the time even of we don't trade 100 times a day. You need map VXV. Go to instrument manager, add, in misc, KineTick put VXV, this way the KineTick VXV will map to your VXV.daytradingES wrote:harpa
I can't seem to find VXV or enter it on ninja 7 instrument list using Kinetick as the symbol map.
If you want to contact them and ask how to add it on the symbol map for Ninja then I'll try some more but 1 hour gone and no luck -so...
