OK by me. I'm just guessing about Yellen. Mr. Market will move when he is ready. ;)

All dips bought. All rallies sold. bb width very narrow now. They say the smart money is usually right during these events. So stay short? Maybe just wait for the inevitable break and then follow in its vapor trail?

h1 long, I still think h2 is needed, although looks like h1 long is ok in our case.

it was a successful h1 long. in reality trading I'll sure miss this trade, doesn't look like h1 is enough.

Ellipses on SPX 5min chart suggest that Friday's big move will be at the opening. So the move might not only be linked to opex, could also be a belated reaction to what Janet Yellen says to congress Thursday

Cobra, my suggestion for your new tag: the lady looks serious and inspires confidence - those are the qualities visitors to your great forum want to see too ;)

joegamma wrote:interesting re Yellen confirmation...wonder if she needs to hint at positive underlying economic :?: strength to get confirmed?
meaning that she may not talk up more/ longer QE since Congress may hold the vice-chair accountable for economic weakness.

still bearish intermediate-term, nyad , vix, falling momentum in Nysi, leans bearish but maybe not today or tomorrow or friday
What about if she needs to show she is the same bigbankbooster pump-it-up-pump-it-up as bad bennie?
who heard of anyone in politics being accountable?

Ahhhh Miyagi, that day when you'll be summoned to Congress you'll look exactly like Yellen. Nearly everybody who is questioned by congress looks as though he/she is about to sentenced to death
