It will be interesting to see if MLK regains its edge.... Might mean a surge in the SPX on Tuesday to 1855 - 1860.... and then a reverse...

The DAX will be key to what occurs.

I am surprised with the VIX move, this tells me that Market is not ready to go down!

You have the weekend effect plus MLK day on Monday (I think markets are closed) so that adds to Vix futures options decay. I have seen a roughly 12 day cycle on Vix that lines up for a low on Tuesday.

I have been playing around with this. Sort of like an NYMO for the gold miner market. I'm not claiming it's tuned well or anything but it suggests gold miners may pull back soon.
