NANEX is trying to generate support to stop quote stuffing, otherwise known as institutionalized rape. If that sounds severe to you then that is EXACTLY what the HFT guys are hoping you think. If you are new to trading in the last few years then you cannot fully appreciate that they have their programs set to destroy classical TA. There is no method of trading that does not risk losing far more than you thought possible if on the wrong side of them.

5 years ago, if you could enter 10,000 quotes per second and had no intention of them being filled they might have actually shut you down and prosecuted you. Now the NYSE is leading the charge to rip these machines out as the government does not even understand what they are doing sufficiently to prosecute them. Therefore, it's easier to just ban the practice which is taking an estimated 25% of any mutual funds profits in a given year because they can. They are also ruining Wall Street as the world's center for raising capital. Former head of the NYSE, Grasso, calls them parasites that must be removed for the market to function. MSNBC took down the video with his comments. THAT is how much they need the public in the dark in that this method that never has a losing day and is 70% of the volume.

Please read this short article and follow the links, sign what I think is a petition, and write a very brief note that you have seen their devastation and want the mkts back as they were before they are ruined in a massive computer driven collapse.
http://www.nanex.net/Research/QuoteStu ... anned.html

I have posted a number of HFT activity charts that have moved the mkt and changed trends in an instant during the last few weeks. I hope people have realized those quotes are nothing but manipulation as well as raping orders that they see being placed on the book.

There are over 200 people on line now. It's a good start if everyone takes a moment as the government wants to hear from us on this issue.

Thank you

As an aside, the Giants odds of winning the Super Bowl at the start of the season were 40:1.

The odds of a safety to open the scoring was 50:1. Saw a winning ticket posted online. Someone put a grand down and won.

nothing to say, so far a typical day after a big up day, the morning dip gets bought again. The only difference is the down gap is the biggest after a big up day since the rally began last year.

Largest positive tick has been +609 and the largest negative tick -1197. The bias would appear to be lower.

I don't see -1197 tick my low tick was -739 Thanks, so fade the tick to day is a failure if we see new LOD.
