But my XIV signal stayed long instead of flip flopping (see bottom panel, not included in yr system)
I know u found “no advantage” for XIV in your backtests
But XIV or invertedVXX would be the ONLY clue we have from the futures volatility traders
Right now we only have equity volatility signals in the mix

I want to be negative on it but it's been in a very tight range for a few days now. You could also draw a funny wedge starting from where it gapped down in September that looks like it should resolve itself soon.
