Time to short CAT. It has had a good run up and is now stopped at the 50 day.

Cobra, do you live in the future?

I would pay good money for a blog post detailing your trade setups and your preferred methodologies.

Good point. Thursdays have been Bearish lately. I'm sure Cobra will look into that in tonight's Outlook.

I believe lots of setups are based on experiences because trade is art not science. For example, the 3 push up is a general concept, it doesn't mean exactly 3, could be 4 or 5 or more. The subtle thing is to see the push strength wading, so sometimes 3 is enough but sometimes you need 4 or 5.

And that's only about recognizing the pattern. The trading needs more details, such as how to entry and how to exit and most importantly how to detect the trend as early as possible. I mean I wish I could formula all those in a fixed way, but sadly it's very hard to do so.

I entered long a bit early, just exited with tiny profit.

ok, the feel is bad for bears here, now it's essential to pullback in the next couple of bars to start the 2nd leg down, otherwise, pretty much bears are over.

not a perfect L2, bears need a real L2 next bar assuming the current bar could close in red. I think bears need some luck here.

You are right Soku but stock market does not follow economic. Do you honestly think that the Greece crisis has been resolved over a night?
Just make your money and keep your head above the water.

no red bar, bears even don't have the signal bar, the only good I see for bears is the volume is up. let's wait...

I have a Positive Price Reversal on 15 min SPX RSI 14 that calculates out to 1314. These don't always work out, but often do. Next swing up in 15 min stochastic will tell the story.
