why is tvix has not passed Friday's high wile VIX index already did? I bought at close on Friday and still underwater.

?? i was long /CL from the wednesday before Thanksgiving. closed the position +32k. then i went short at 11am this morning. just didn't think it would work out as well as it has. plus 3k today already. but it just climbed back into the channel from the bottom...i'll have to watch this hourly close. need a clear close below 100.90 for me to keep the shorts overnight.

hmmm...this sounded indignant...which i'm not. thank you for the CL? lol

could bounce here.... or fall to bottom of the blue channel

I think we'll see the 2nd leg because I covered all my short (automatically filled short when my long got stopped out while I was having the lunch, the stop loss was a double stop loss, i.e. automatic short when the long stop loss hit). I tend to cover way way way way too early.

1252.5-1253.5 was a dynamic res on 15min. currently bulls are defending around.
i still expect a gap fill some time later.

CL definently has some strength, but we keep trying to close over this weekly resistance and failing....

btw, I am short GLD and SLV.

I wouldnt be surprised if S&P, Fitch and Moodys downgraded everybody, and the only country left standing with a AAA rating is Leichtenstein.

ohhhh...right right, i forgot. we were discussing where the overhead resistance was. i was asking cuz it looks to be 103 on my charts. it didn't really make it, but neg d on the hourlies enticed me to cover and go short. figured i could add if it hit 103, and then cover it it really did break the double top pattern.

consolidation at support (R1 pivot level - 125.96) should be good for bears. SHOULD be the operative word.

/es at support 1252 and spy is also at current support at $125.80. All I need is another $0.15 from $125.80 to cover tvix. come on, please.

notice clean top from Daily resistance causing selloff. I think its more technical and the fundamental gives a "reason"

thanks, that would be what professionals usually do. never leave your position unattended. Expensive lunch it was, but I didn't lose much simply because of that double stop loss.

Seven 5 minute bars withOUT a close below the 50% retrace of the last move higher. Just above the 200 sma . . .

. . . could be a bear flag too.
