My charts are all over. the info is coming in so fast that charts can't keep up. That's what I get for trying to get internet through my 3G phone in my shack.

GDX appears to be on way to close at LOD, certainly not playing for a reversal. But will add more to DUST if/when there is one

Don't quite understand the question. Fib time cycles and ellipses are not the same - unless we focus on the 50% Fib. Think of the ellipses as a channel with a center line, but it works in two demensions: not only the y-axis of the channel, but the x-axis (the time axis) too...

glad to c a buyer in aapl

i sell chunks on the way up usually missing the last bit of the move, and then i buy chunks at lower prices around areas where i think there will be a potential reversal. it may not be the most efficient way of "trading", but it's a kind of trend following system.

these are just positions around a core aapl position that was started a long time ago.

my first position is right a minor percentage of the time, but it's also usually only 1/3rd or at most 1/2 of what i want to commit to the whole position anyway.

if this sounds like a bad system, i'm happy to hear the criticism. it's now how i trade my entire portfolio, as i don't like to make it a habit of buying weak stocks; but for aapl it's worked for me in the past.

could be on support... if not look for 1408ish

I've answered why you don't want to see spy close below its yesterday's open in the members only update. not sure if the last 5 min would change everything.

I guess the funds are selling Apples like at the orchards.

That is not a bad system at all. Iwas taught many years ago that this IS the best system.
