No charts today.
My beautifully drawn wedges and triangles have been breaking down without the additional move or two to complete what would be beautiful coils.
Perhaps it is a true breakdown, but because they left unfinished business, I am open to them morphing into something else.
The action is not bullish though.
That said, TRIN is elevated this morning. So, a bounce may be getting ready to set.

It occurs to me that yesterday's crumpling started mid-day without a hard event but at a time when certain earnings releases would have been circulated, perhaps even embargoed to various media outlets.
Smells like jackal to me...

Bulls want to hold last week's open session low IMO, ideally intra-day but absolutely on the close. If not, the December low becomes critical.
I am working a small short from yesterday. BE stop. It's either a starter position or I'll be out depending on how things go.

In other news, the DAX is holding up pretty well (inside day in an upward trend) and the R2K seems OK too churning in its range.

Mid-Dec hammer low, ca 8600. Lower bollyband today ca 8600. Today’s low was 8610. Current, as of last glance, ca 8650.

Was that enough of a ‘test’ of these possible reversal points?

GDX fwiw.. maybe lower gap.. 17.75.. but looking weak… could be just a bear flag.. weekly candle ugly.. but 2.5 days to go!.. and in a weird way.. to my 3 peaks doomed house..RUT chart yesterday… . you can see the same patternish on the 60m!!
