Not a believer in this rally. Just a hunch, looking at breadths and VIX and it doesn't seem right.
yup. same here… CPC Put/Call ratio 1.24 a tad hot.

That's never good. I usually look to RUT to first signal move, rarely to confirm it

Since the bull train target is ES 2054 daily 200SMA. Any retrace should not go under ES 2022. Absolutely no failure allowed by bulls here cuz this is a train squeeze up...(daily is bull engulf)
I am still having an hourly extreme overbought aggressive short signal.
Price could hold up here for hourly moving averages to catch up since it was a large hourly perfect bull bar previously

if today is a trend-day up...could the money shot be here (the 200day SMA)...

I don't believe in today's rally at all.

Yup, ES is holding up high here to work off overbought conditions and letting 5m/15m/60min moving averages catch up.
Intraday shorts are pretty much trapped with this bull train since there's no spike down. All Aboard!

Evil scenario: Is the market doing a pump and dump before AMZN + GOOGL earnings?
Assuming we hit the ES 2050-2054 daily 200SMA moving average target before 4:15pm

Just a heads up, I have minor resistance at ES 2040 and 2047 before the 2054 target.

Surprisingly, we should hit the lower bb on daily spy pretty soon. That's a big drop but its coming.

at the weekly/daily BB confluence and the 50w/200d confluence? A perfect storm?
2060 SPX wise.

BUT, we have rallied in to every ECB meeting this year and topped that day 5 times (and once on the Monday after) for an average pullback of 60pts....
It used to be the Fed's QE that drove these crazy rallies.... now it is the ECB -
we live in interesting times...

Recap ... this morning QQQ p-bars residing at $109.14 from August 20 and August 24 were tagged.
Still remaining open are QQQ p-bars at $110.11 and above that at $110.80 and $110.82 ranging from August 20 to September 1
A SPY p-bar residing at $204.77 from August 21 looks to be in play this morning, with higher targets at $208.29 which seems improbable anytime soon.

Vol surge, should be a pullback here, then we'll see.
