Best message board I have ever found. I appreciate everyone sharing their knowledge.

Cobra, it's interesting that you develop app's. In a previous life I was a computer programmer/analyst.
The mainframe days...17+ years.

I have an idea for an app, if you're interested, please email me. It's related to finance / social gaming.

gator11 wrote: agnosia where can i find these pivot points you always talk about. Appreciate your post. Thanks in advance. Anyone follow Martin Armstrong? guy is really good and predicts a major turnig point is near June13th/14th 2011 that will start a new up cycle in the markets that should last until 2015/2016. Any thoughts on this
hey gator11, the book is called "candlestick and pivot point trading triggers" by john l. person.... you can find a pdf online if you search google.

pivot points are great but since a lot of people use them it's better to think of them as areas vs exact prices where to go long short since the bots love to trigger right below/above these points. good luck.

As of yesterday all three indexes have somewhat of a double bottom. All the RSI's and Stoh's are at the very very bottom.I think now we may have at least 2-3 up days befor we turn for shorting. The NYSEBP added another "O" and as of now still indicating more dn.The NYSI is also dn .Over all things look good for shorting after this up move.wait and see.

Thank you much appreciated. I am a student of the game and this is by far the best place to learn. I really appreciate everyone's (bullbear52, cletus, umpel, agnosia, 99er, kena, and of course the snake just to name a few) post and have been following them for a while now.

If you're into Elliott Wave, gold hit its 78.6% retracement of the decline from the May 2nd high, yesterday. So, wave iii down is pending... I'm short gold. Good luck.

I agree somewhat. We may have had a completed 5 wave impulse down and so we'll Zig-Zag then push to test 1323.

Or we're just in a Wave 4 correction and we have one more push down to 1250-1275 range. I have a feeling it's this option and we'll find support at the Weekly 40MA, but if the 1291 pivot holds today and tomorrow then the 1st scenario becomes more likely.
