I am gonna shut er down for the day. Take a nap. Or maybe do some research. I am holding UUP short still. DBC short. GLD long. Some bond ETFs long. Maybe the market opens later.

It's back open. OK, maybe I will do some trading. Even ES and the boys are open. For the time being. I am out of almost all ETFs, except for GLD and some bond ETFs. GLD is down a tiny bit.

anywho, had two micros short last night but closed them before the -5% halt.
now -7% daytime halt
I can't see USgovt not stepping in at 2:25pm (CT?) to prevent a one trade and -13% freeze.
panic would really beyond taking heads to dig out...

Absolutely. Day trader's paradise, if volatility is a desirable thing for one's system. SPY just went from 273.60 to 281.60 in ten minutes. Try getting THAT kind of return from a 10yr treasury.
