can you add on:
" I interpret my charts as suggesting that lately there are some hesitations in the moves of this stock". how do you see this?

The movements of AAPL are dominated by smart cookies - not by turkeys. The 2x down-reversals at technical levels (both Fork and Fan) I don't see this to clear

show that those guys are uncertain before earnings…and this recommends AAPL (in my view) as ready for an impulse!

, I am ready to construct a strangle or a straddle on Monday…Which of them ? That should be decided upon the

market moves on Monday, if it moves high what would it tell you ? if it moves low what would it tell ?

the options valuation ? and and the market appetite for them. how can you tell

thanks I am learning and all these are honest questions... ! and I am long apple.
See those 2 sets of 2 recent blue arrows, pointing down, one set on each chart? They show the “technical reversals” that I was talking about. The rest is indeed speculative interpretation…But without it, charting becomes so boring…isn’t it?

Thank you for your interest…GL with your trades!

BullBear: your chart and my answer to your previous post, crossed on their way, as I was I leaving. I like it too.

Here is, just for fun, the same space divided in n/8 steps, like in Murrey Math, on an older weekly chart, that I showed before.
* 3/8 worked surprisingly well as support.
* 4/8 (putative pivot/reversal) worked just ok, but not great. In that zone, other indicators were more precise…

Speculation: if 3/8 is upgraded to pivot/reversal (I.e. virtual 4/8)…then the present 7/8 becomes top of this “virtual octave” and target/resistance ~1463.
However we should watch whether we get to 1349 (6/8) first. Tom DeMark says: NO WAY!

you guys don't take any break? personally i celebrate all holidays in all religions. today is chinese new year, BUT cobra is not giving out red envelops. according to my understanding to chinese culture, he has to!!!

i did some quick coding in tos based on an article from connie brown. in general it is one of a series of practice to apply moving average and macd to rsi. i showed couple charts last week. All of them were using this indicator on 15 min es. it is not bad in finding divergence, especially in short time frame. like rsi and derivatives, it is easy to apply. extreme reversal, zero line, divergence. be aware, this is just the very first version. it may contain mistakes and/or misunderstanding. by no means it can serve as a sole indicator for trading. me no responsible for anything related to it.
