The 538 blog http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/ has Obama at about 90% odds of winning. In case you don't know about Nate Silver who writes that blog he made a name for himself developing statistical models for Major League Baseball that had actual predictive value, made a boat load of money in online poker, and most famously nearly called the 2008 election perfectly (and also has a book out that I haven't read but plan on reading). He uses a model that weights various polls and other stats that is pretty neat to read about. Anyway I thought I would share given the election today.

Intrade.com has Obama at $0.725, Romney at $0.245. Remember, Intrade.com correctly predicted Phillip Phillip would win American idol, way before any reasonable person would believe it....

A chart for copper showing a break out could be up or dn..The technicals per an article by Seeking Alpha says copper will break to the dn side..So goes copper so goes the mkt..Lets see what happens..I'm still holding for the Dow Nov low around 12300/12000..Planning my shorts accord.
