Phantom Bar High 6064
Phantom Bar Close 5961
Difference 103 points
5961-103 = 5858
Low today = 5858
Have spotted this in the past on the S&P. The Phantom Bars appear to be intentional and an indication to those in the know of where the price is going for the day.

Travelfrog, do you have a FTSE chart with the Phantom Bar? I'd like to have a look. Thanks.
L2 short at EMA20, should be high winning rate trade. I'm not sure however as I think the rebound should be 2 legged and we've just witnessed the 1st leg up. Why 2 legged? Because I saw clearly a 3 push down pattern.

I happened to see that SPX is bouncing on the centre line of a blue channel, which goes back to March 2009 - disregard everything else on the chart, as I don't want to delete the old information:

VIX up 18%+ then 80% chances a green day tomorrow. bulls, by the way, have a very favorable seasonality for the rest of the week.

No real fear in today's trade. No bottom in. CPC only at 0.85, unless retail traders are buying all the puts and others are buying the calls, which is possible with ISEE at 79.
by the way, now you guys believe my ultimate weapon for detecting a market bottom? As long as people are indifferent about my report, the bottom isn't in.

doji: "What's your take on Silver? A resistance at the upper trendline?"
Expecting silver to fall back to at least the mid-channel line but may fall further to lower line of channel. We're due for a correction here at current sky-high levels. Longer term, I think silver (and gold) may be the only way to go when TSHTF.

Interestingly, my wife suggested we sell some silver on Friday and I locked in a price at Kitco that night for $42.10/oz. That was well ABOVE the Friday close. Mania.
