i'm still seeing a triangle which should resolve to the downside...what are you seeing champix?
On a longer term, I am really bearish (with a low target @ 55 USD...lol) but no charts to explain...:)
that's a drawn out double bottom! :)

and not really valid until a decisive break above 86. hahaha

but i see what you're looking at.
Sometimes the idea of a potential figure is more profitable than a true/perfect figure ....lol
For me TA is a need to find entry point to conviction (for my commodities trading) :D :D

Yup, find it odd GLD and SLV are down while Dollar is down and market ripping higher. Seems to be a disconnect.... Anyone have thoughts as to why?

What do your charts look like?? I guess if no QE announced then that would not be good for commodities....

Last night my time I had a long on ES futures - placed for first time what I thought would behave as OCO
But not so - tdameritrade app won't let you place dueling orders btw - so what happened? My stop order got filled then later my other "stop" got filled as buy - then I ordered another 20 contracts - on my phone - but This was a close - and at 1347! So I got hammered on the sell I shouldn't have had and missed the buy I wanted!
Needless Andy at TOS said he would reduce my futures transaction fees to $1.00 - but that does little to assuage what looks to be a $60k snafu

Note to all on TOS mobile - don't place competing orders and then go to sleep

Btw - house for sale - Kuwait - will send photo later - while not freehold, I promise not to pull the oriental rug from under you

ouch. i don't know any US based brokers that allow for competing orders though. if you want to do that, just open up a secondary account. i think i "heard" that there are some UK orders where you can go both long and short the same stock in the same account...but i've never seen it.

trading on an iphone is tough. props to you. not sure how you do it.

Cobra -- I've read the explanation of H1, H2 and found it confusing. At some point, it would be helpful if you could try to spell it out for those of us who are technically challenged (or just not too sharp). Thanks.

Gold has been a leading indicator in these markets - a lagged when equities go higher (due to stimulus fodder)

Gold will drop so f"ing hard tomorrow regardless the outcome of the fed - the fed will not print money on eve of elections - too much ammunition for republicans in election year - the best they can do is buy mortgages - or extend operation twist

And with this rally in equities - anything short of printing money (maybe Europe?) you will see the gold drop like the hot rock it is first

Disclaimer
I am way f"ing short gold via futures

Here is the history of my indicators before the turn time on your chart
(Signal status based on price of SPY/DAX30/AUDUSD on hourly charts)
June 28, 2011: Buy/Buy/Buy, Outcome: Up
Aug 09, 2011: Sell/Sell/Sell, Outcome: Up (Stochastic extremely oversold).
Dec 20, 2011: Buy/Buy/Buy, Outcome: Up
May 04, 2012: Sell/Sell/Sell, Outcome: Down
Current: Buy/Buy/Buy, Outcome:?
I suspect an up move this time (which may have already begun).

So how much has been priced in........ 150% ?!?!?!?!?

Looks like a suckers rally today - tomorrow the bubble goes "pop" again.
Everyone just jumping on so they don't miss anything........ they won't miss the drop, that's the name of the game.
