lunch time. my guess is the next pullback would be larger than the tinted area, just not sure when the pullback starts. so far bulls are not strong.

SPY has clear 5 waves up from 128.88 and has now retraced 50% of that move, so far. Making a new high would suggest a wave 3 up is starting....very bullish short term.

Cobra, it's interesting that you develop app's. In a previous life I was a computer programmer/analyst.
The mainframe days...17+ years.
I have an idea for an app, if you're interested, please email me. It's related to finance / social gaming.
Thanks. Just I don't have any extra time for app development now. Maybe later?

I use a combination of a forward moving average and cycles to determine when the trend changes. I'm bullish on oil short-term but the trade is just not moving yet. I'm giving it a few more days.
We should rally into the close but have a weak open tomorrow, however, buy dips.

personally i use a short-term trend indicator that needs a higher low and higher high than previous bar. We have the higher low but not a higher high so the short-term trend is still down.

This will get you into a trade too late, in my opinion, but it's not a bad approach.
