If AAPL close here, the the chart is not bad. I have no idea about the effect of Nasdaq 100 restructuring. They should have done this long time ago.

fund manager will adjust their portfolios as long as they have positions with NDX, same for arbitrageurs.

So does that mean when fund managers adjust with NDX...then APPLE goes down and GOOG MSFT go up? Or am I just trying to predict something that won't happen?

NFLX is topping right now..It is getting ready to pull back off highs...I will waite to short when the mkt turns. If mkt goes up this may go higher.The RW not worth it. But I have been wrong on NFLX befor.

Cobra;
This is the answer to your question regarding price of oil going up. It is just your imagnation. There is no price increase in Oil. What are you talking about?

Three push up plus volume surge, my guess is a pullback of some kind here.

a lot of groups are still doing statistical arbitrages to maintain their portfolios, in this case, they will sell APPL if they long NDX, and buy MSFT at the same time. Arbitrageurs' behavior depends on which side the arbitrage relies on for NDX.

People in my Chinese forum are saying that inflation will push the stock market higher. Well, how much inflation do we expect here? I don't see from this chart inflation is a good thing as when inflation represented by tip leads tlt to certain degree, the market would feel tired.

DAG is good inflaton play, if you don't think there will be one, short it.

Cobra...thanks for everything...is it bearish when the RUT leads?...CNBC seems to think it is good and said today that the rest of the market would soon follow...but looking back at 2007, when NDX could not make a new recovery high and the RUT soared there was a lot of red soon after...and I mean a lot of red!!

IWM leads usually is good thing. I think you're talking about 2008 when IWM led but it was bad ahead. I don't know if we're in 2007 or 2008 now.
