I know I sound like a broken record but so far positive market posture remains although we are getting close to a good 20-30 handle pullback...

SPY 5 minute: an interesting bar to open with.

closed shorts. that was ugly. just kept going straight up since the bb width hit 80. There's not really a precedent for what just happened. its possible we will get a upper bb breach today or in the coming days, which has a very strong track record. but im not going to stay in waiting for that to happen.

norally the loss i took this week would make me depressed until i think about i made a killing on shorting gold in december. this didnt even dent that. so chin up.

Hah.

Safest way to play in a bull market is to just buy on extreme weakness. trying to short tops is always risky. i do it because i come out ahead in the long run. just not this time.

As ive said many times the red avg holds the short term trend and the black avg the main trend . on the hourly chart posted by me above we went all the way to the black avg at 1874.50, so for now the trend has not changed,imho

AAPL daily, weekly, broke 20d SMA... a few hours left for the weekly... but if we close in this range... it's not looking good.. in the near term
