Levered small caps are also about to hit support pivot 2, have to watch and see if it slows it down.....

My view of the smalls looks like they have stopped the bleeding for now as the indicators I follow move into the chop zone.

XLK had spent not a minute under its 20day MA for two months.. until the last couple days. It's below now, just barely...

My big issue with the small caps is the number of contracts on the bid/ask. Rarely is it in double digits so while the smalls show a huge appeal as a trader the volume just isn't there to trade more than a couple of contracts. On the ES FuturesTrader 71 tracts large traders separately defined as 29 or more contracts per trade. That is 3.75 million dollars notational with an overnight margin requirement of $160,000.
So it is what it is.

NY advancing stocks = 1.1 x declining stocks
NY advancing volume = 1.8 x declining volume
Narrow: lots of volume moving into not-very-many stocks

Speaking of "not very many", Advance/Decline on NYSE continues to narrow. The bullish plurality is lessening.
