$VIX - Just noticed its 50MA is about to cross above 200MA line. Does this crossover really mean anything? This event occurred twice in the past 2 years. Each time it preceded a dramatic $VIX spike and market drop. Will this time be different?

This is what make day trading interesting, will it try to retest all time high and failed, OR it will just moving up and up breakout. my read is if market refuse to sell off late today, it will tomorrow. not that I will hold any position over night, just saying.....
