Staying above 1200 and 1170 is essential for the bulls. If SPX can't break back to the upside and 1170 fails the market goes down hard, and the bulls know it. I don't think 1170 will be given up easily.

so long the 118 support held up, gap fill is still possible. if 118 failed to hold I will see it as run away gap. here is my yellow line in the sand.

1176 is major gap support...would be very surprised if we don't bounce at least there. This coming from someone who has been uber bearish the last couple of weeks. Still holding some shorts, but ratcheting up stops.
