Ha ha. You have a gambler's heart. I don't think one can rely on charts today. Ninja was all f***ed up this morning. StockCharts is dead in the water. I like to feel comfortable at the control panel. Ha ha TOS charts OK. IB charts OK but always limited.Daniel wrote:Absolutely. Day trader's paradise, if volatility is a desirable thing for one's system. SPY just went from 273.60 to 281.60 in ten minutes. Try getting THAT kind of return from a 10yr treasury.JFR wrote:It's back open. OK, maybe I will do some trading.
Fieldydwb--and any other new posters to this Board--note how you can use the editing function to pick out just the exact portion you want to quote, and not the rest. This is good to do, it keeps posts from being unnecessarily long.Fieldydwb wrote:Probably the coolest post of the year from a trader.Cobra wrote:Sorry, overslept, there's one hour change, hopefully didn't miss too much fun.
Got it. Sorry about that.Daniel wrote:being unnecessarily long.Fieldydwb wrote:Probably the coolest post of the year from a trader.Cobra wrote:Sorry, overslept, there's one hour change, hopefully didn't miss too much fun.
Actually not. With volatility like this one can keep position size very small, and still knock out a nice scalp-return. Just be patient and wait for good setups, with target and stop in a favorable ratio. Trading today will be pure sentiment. And that's when technical analysis does best.JFR wrote:Ha ha. Yes! Indeed you did.Fieldydwb wrote:Got it.Daniel wrote:long.
