Gap up along yesterday's high so no idea whether the gap will be filled or not.

Not much to say on the Global ES other than it is facing multiple resistances. So kind of key time now.

EURO still looks weak.

Ouch! Thank goodness I didn't play with RIMM. Playing earnings is no better than gambling! Image

It appears that today’s bounce of GLD happens at the right time and price. It might be trade-able…

Why not even one analyst downgrades RIMM to sell rating ? They are just lower down the target price.
Does it mean something ??

PAGING COPPER FOLKS
Last few days Copper has held up better than other metals
[Financial Times, Ft.com December 14, 2011 7:48 pm, after the close]
A deal has been reached between thousands of striking workers and managers at FCX, ending a three-month labour dispute that has crippled production at the miner’s Indonesian operations.
“...Losses have run as high as $18m per day for the US company, which operates one of the world’s largest gold and copper mines in the remote eastern highlands of Papua, since roughly 8,000 workers [went on strike]…The shortage of supply has also lifted international copper prices... The deal ends the lengthiest and possibly the most costly strike in Indonesian history...”

Ps: thanks 99er for copper chart

RIMM is trading below book value. An analyst says the stock is worth $12. The stock might rally from here.

Tax loss selling on top of current problems, bounce next week, when short's start to cover.
Last day for tax loss to sell is next week Friday in Canada.

FCX went from paying the workers there $2.50/hour to $7.50/hour. Man I'm glad I'm not an Indonesian copper miner......

DAX leads, but today's is OE, so US might not follow DAX.
