Manage to touch the line above then breakout would be more likely, it doesn't look like a double top pattern to me.

Gap up above the Friday's high so it could be a trend day either up or down.

Happy New Year everybody.
Nothing really new here. The NYMO cycle remains up.
I figure I will just put up this chart again.

SPX continues to tick above the big bull cycle logarithmic rising tops line.
Weekly RSI continues to show a bearish divergence.
So, maybe the bears will get to take a trip to the 2year moving average this year.
We shall see.

I remain long SPX and R2K with some scales taken.

Lots of movement, but we have not seen volatility, this is calm market, wait until $VIX/VVIX pick up a speed then it will be more fun to trade.

Friday statistically was supposed to be the worst day of the Santa Rally but here we are with a lower VPOC BUT a much larger range. Very interesting!

A closed below 4750 /ES will point to more down the next day. other than that, I don't see more down. today closed will tell the tale, be patience.
