So for it's a 3 push up (red arrows), still missing a lower high (dashed arrow). If the coming rebound makes a slightly new high then will need another lower high and this can go on turning 3 push up into 5, 6, 7, 8 push up...

Moving up out of the trading range.

A doji so far.

Lots of positives. But "ya never know." Just play the odds.

SPY 60 minutes.

IMO it wants to go up.

Second big push at the top in the last few days.

So, will it go on through and up, or will it fail?

Either way, I will play it with a pause or small pullback for some safety and "proof."

Climbing the "wall of worry."

SPY 5 minutes.

A tiny gap up, but no continuation so far.

Needs a breakout or a breakdown.

The longer it delays, the more likely it will breakdown, imo.

No breakdown yet. Nor a breakout up.

But it looks like it has eyes on moving down.

Waiting for a move outside the range.

[Trades w 2 Cats]

I marked the three big computer driven ( I assume) moves and put them next to each other on the right. Not sure what the upside target is for today other than hold on to the gains until next week.

Everybody and their cousin are calling for a partial retracement of the move off the October lows with a mid-January to February time frame to coincide with standard seasonals.

Don't want to be a broken record but everything is in alignment for this to be a major top or a breakout into a new era of prosperity.
